We loved our stay at the cabins! They are clean and well maintained, decor is inviting, and the views and grounds are amazing. We were there on a colder weekend and they had it heated and cozy right as we walked in. To make it even better - Bob the owner is friendly and personable. We highly recommend Island View Resort for any North Shore excursion.
The price is great, but that's because you have to clean the cabin before you leave or you get charged a fee. Location is great. Cabins are old. They aren't terribly close together but there's not much room to play/sit outside right next to your cabins either. Cabins 1-5 are TINY! If you're looking for a place to just sleep that is in close proximity to all the state parks it's a great option, if you're looking for r&r, this is probably not your best option.

The cabins are small and cozy. The owners are really nice. Our cabin did have a musty smell on our last visit. I think they were having some flooding issues.
My family and I stayed here in cabin 10 this last weekend, and it was pretty amazing. The cabin was clean and stocked with everything but food and our clothes. We could help but to stop and stare at the stars. I highly recommend this place!
